So write about it...or at least jot it down.
Lookee what I got today!! I was so excited when I made this and I could not wait for it to get here. I love it! I am always writing stuff on pieces of paper and losing them. Well no more. When I get a aha! moment that needs to be remembered to tell you about, this is where I will write it. When I get a card idea, or anything I want to remember, in here it will go. When I hear about a book I want to read, I am putting it in here. I'm gonna make up one to keep in my truck to keep track of mileage. Oh and I want to make one to take to Leadership. Oh and I just got to thinking (this will tell me if my little sister Courtney is reading my blog or not) how cool would it be to make one for her wedding and it will be the Guest book? OMG! I know right? I am like brilliant!
Don't you wish you had one of your own? Of course you would want yours to say "Tracy's Tidbits of Info" or something like that. It can say anything your little heart desires. I loved this template and barely changed it, I just added a few more flowers I think.
It's filled with 80 lined sheets of paper, so you will have plenty of room to write in it.
Wouldn't this be a great journal to start out 2011, if you started a diary, perhaps you are starting a diet and need to keep track of the food you are eating...oh keep reading cause I got to tell you about our supper...but back to the journal...
And just so no one steals my beautiful book, look what I put on the backside. The backside was plain I think so I spruced it up a little.
Now unless I have an evil twin lurking, I do believe my journal is safe.
Would you like one? Well if you own My Digital Studio and have updated it to the latest version, you can make one! Yep! Cool eh? If you don't have My Digital Studio and you would like me to make one just for you, just let me know and I can tell you the cost.
So today I also picked the winning ticket for the free stamp sets for the month of November and the winning ticket was:
Congratulations Sharon! I sent you an email, so make sure to give me a buzz when you get it. Thanks to everyone for placing orders last month, I really appreciate it. This month is my 12 Days of Christmas specials and today is Day 2, so make sure you have signed up so you are getting my daily emails (that is different then my blog feed), then you won't miss out!
OK so I mentioned early about a food diary, well IF I did that today would not have been good, the food was delicious but I am sure that the calories were very very high. But oh well here goes...ha! My friend Susanna Boyd, the Paper Craft Planet guru, she told me about a Pioneer Woman mashed potato recipe so I made those...to make it short, potatoes, cream cheese, butter, half & half and salt and pepper. OMG! They were so delicious. And cause I love ya here's the link.
Then my sweet friend Rhonda, that I am missing so much cause I have not seen her in like it seems forever, has been telling me how she loves to put a pork loin in the crock pot and pour a jar of salsa over it and let it cook all day. Well I got me a pork loin the other day, and a jar of salsa. So this morning, I'm like gee to me it did not sound that good (sorry Rhonda but it just didn't). Well I remembered when I was talking about the crockpot the other day, quite a few of you emailed me to read this blog. So I thought I would just go over there to see what she would do with a pork loin and I'll be gosh darned if someone did not comment with this same idea BUT they added 1 cup brown sugar to the salsa, and I'm like well heck if it's got brown sugar that will make it taste even better. Well let me tell you. I could get my butt up right now from my computer and go heat me up a third serving, but it's almost 10:30 at night and I am sure that is not what I need for a nightime snack. But I'll give you one guess what I'm having for lunch tomorrow...ha! So Rhonda, I apologize for second guessing you on the salsa, and next time you make it, add the brown sugar.
Let's see what else I got written down to tell you. Oh yeah, Yahoo!! The watercolor wonder crayons are now available. But just a little hint. If you are getting my 12 Days of Christmas emails...ummm...well that's all I'm saying.
Ok, that is it for me tonight, my friends. I'm gonna hit the hay with my upside down "Love Rosie" book, and I am enjoying it even if when I read it in public it looks like I'm a spy or something. I really do want to go somewhere with it, and then kinda look around full of mischief and see if anyone says anything. Like Inspector Clouseau...wonder what I did with my beige trench coat? Ha!
Have a lovely Thursday and thanks for stopping in!
