Movies I Recommend

  • "Death at a Funeral"
Make sure you get the original 2007 British version. So many funny moments, I love swearing in a British accent. Oh and Uncle Alfie on the crapper..."it's touch and go" and "you missed a bit" - Classic
  • "Barefoot in the Park"
This is so funny, Jane Fonda's Mum and all the stairs is hilarious and when she gets drunk....ya gotta watch it!
  • "The Butterfly Effect"
Make sure to watch BOTH versions, the theatrical and the director's cut...let me know which one YOU liked best!
  • "Mr. Holland's Opus"
I love Richard Dreyfuss, since Jaws and this movie is so uplifting and beautiful.
  • "Serendipity"
I think this is one of my favorite movies of all time...well at least the one with NO vampires in it...ha! I believe in fate...do you?

I'm a Twilight Freak...are You?

The Hunger Games is a FANTASTIC trilogy. I started them and couldn't put them down. I had to hijack the last one from my husband because he was taking too long to read it!!!! Can't wait for the movie to come out next year...hope it does the book justice!

I love your blog...learn so much from you...as for Revenge...I have not watched it but I did watch Person of Interest last night and I thought it was really good...I also like Body of Proof...will have to try these little yoyos...as for the Hunger Games..I read the books a year ago..my daughter-in-law and granddaughter read them and told me I would like them..I LOVED them..take care and thanks for sharing..Jan

I have to say I read your blog daily and enjoy it immensely! Girl I don't know how you stand the heat!!!
The girls are so cute! I love the updates on them. I went back to see Fiji's baby picture and just laughed. What a difference!
Thanks for all your great ideas!

You are such an enabler! Now, I have the yoyo bug and have to keep making them. Your ornament with the Pines and Poinsettias is going to be CASE'd and maybe even done as a make and take at my next workshop. Love how you fussy cut the banner! No interest in Revenge. Person of Interest is good. Tried the new Sarah Michelle whosit but couldn't even finish watching the pilot. Waiting patiently for Bones to start after the World Series. Go Tigers!

Di, such cool halloween projects and I especially love the tree all decorated!

I love the show Revenge as well. You and I are alot alike in the things we enjoy to watch, huh? I have not seen Once Upon a Time show...will have to try and catch it. Another show on ABC Family network that I like is call The Lying Games, have you seen it? I think it is close to coming to the season finale, but you could probably watch them online as well...lots of twists and turns in this one as well. You need to watch it from the beginning though or you might not like it.

I am going on a scrapping retreat this weekend...hope to get caught up a bit.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!

Hugs,

Pinky

PS I love the pics of your outdoor friends...they are adorable!

Good Morning. Awesome ornaments!! As always all your work is great. Thanks for the inspiration! Yes I watch Revenge - OMG love it - trying to get my friends to watch also so I have someone to talk about it with. Yes Once Upon a Time looks good too. Have a great day. Karen

Great stuff! Love the tip about scoring the paper wider and then trim down! That's awesome! I like your Christmas one too. Wouldn't that look all sparkley and pretty on your tree with the lights catching it! Fiji is turning out real pretty too!

Some Kind Words

  • "Thanks for the video. Have been wanting to do this and once again...you have inspired me. :)" - Gladys

  • "Thank you so very much for continuing to show samples and "how to" instructions and videos of your fantastic and creative projects. I can't even express how much it is appreciated." - Kim

  • "You totally crack me up girl. I love you, and we have never met." - Wilma

  • "If I wasn't a demonstrator already, I'd be joining your team. :) Thanks for always sharing your ideas and excitement for SU! My upline quit several years ago, so I've been blessed to have sideline sisters that help and encourage. Convention was a blast... like a bunch of crazy family getting together for a reunion! now I'm going to "go, go, go"... LOL" - Shelly

  • "I highly recommend this tutorial. I have dabbled with water coloring and didn't think I was too bad at it, but this tutorial has a number of helpful tips in it that immediately helped improve my technique. Even with the low price, I was apprehensive to purchase it because I felt a video was needed. You have managed to do it with a very reasonably-priced PDF. I am sorry I didn't purchase it sooner." - Dorrie
