This always makes me wonder, what did I do different on my blog that changed the relevancy so that someone unsubscribes? Not enough stamping? Was it my mentioning God the other day? Was it the chickens? Too much TV talk, or what? Cause I think I mostly keep my blog the same way, just like the title says: Stamping with Di & every day this 'n that. So I am sad when someone unsubscribes, I like the one that says "subscribing using another method"
I wish I knew more why people unsubscribe, but I know that I have unsubscribed from some blogs and they don't have the check box for what is the real reason. Oh well, I can't take it personal, and I promise I won't cry. Thanks for those of you that stick around.
Today was my first round of Apothecary Art class, and this is the third card they did. Cased from the oh so talented Kimberly Van Diepen (thanks Kimberly)
Stamp Set: Apothecary Art, Elementary Elegance
Paper: Soft Suede, Whisper White, Attic Boutique DSP
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Crumb Cake
Misc: Attic Boutique Side Notes, Pool Party Seam Binding, Riding Hood Red Pleated Satin Ribbon, Victoria Crochet Trim, Twitterpated Buttons, Labels Collection Framelits (did you order yours yet?), Adorning Accents Edgelits, Adorning Accents Embossing Folders
So while I was working on my shoe box swap for Rhonda's meeting I had this show on and I was thinking it was Everybody Loves Raymond, it had the brother on there, but he was married to this other girl and he was a teacher, so I thought oh this must be an early episode before he was a cop. Then I was wondering why isn't Raymond showing up? Then they kept calling him Mr. Stark, so then I thought gee Di use the info button on the remote and see what the heck you are watching. Seems it was not even that show it was one called "Till Death" it must have died quick on the tv cause I don't remember it at all.
So here's a question for you:
What is the stamp set that basically does not leave your desk, you use it so much you don't even bother to put it away?
Mine is Tiny Tags and then pretty much the Jewelry Tag punch is right there too.
Let me know, just for fun sake.
Well I better get back to making my swap.
Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.

You're great just the way you are Di! Don't ever change. I would suspect it's mostly "subscribing a different way" - people don't think about their responses I would say. Hugs!

I love reading your blog! I have it bookmarked and visit everyday! I admit, I don't subscribe to blogs, but have TONS bookmarked.
I love hearing about the chickens, dogs, classes, TV shows, silly injuries you get, and all your other ramblings that make you "you"! Keep in mind you have WAY more subscribed than those that leave. Stay the way your are! Entertaining, friendly (I just met you at Leadership in SanAntonio), and talented!

I love your blog just the way it is, thanks for sharing the way you do, don't change a thing! I can't speak for anyone else but I am unsubbing from some blogs right now, getting rid of an old "pay for" email address and updating to free gmail. Maybe others are doing the same.

I love the comment by "Deana in No. CA". I too have unsubscribed from blogs (not from yours), but kept the blog book marked.
Keep your chin up! You have a lot going, not just your Stampin' UP! artistic work, but you're blogging is very intersted as well.
and btw, did I mention I LOVE chickens? hehe.. I really enjoy your photography.
((HUGS)) and God Bless you!

The stamp set that never gets put away... all of them are put away. That is because they are just below my stamp table so all I have to do is open a drawer and there they are. Now that isn't to say that my stamp room is so clean.... haaaaa. I still have some Christmas boxes out. I did so good last year having them away by Jan 1... not this year. Sorry I have been MIA, work has been insane. When it is like that all I do is get up at 4 PM, eat, go to work, work doggone hard, drive home and dive in bed by 9 AM or 10 AM. Then I get up and do it again for about 2 more days. My days off I am just trying to recover. I am trying to catch up on the fun now.
Hugs and licks

Hi Di, I rarely comment on any blog, but today I must. I started selling Stampin' Up about a year ago. That's when I started searching blog land for Stampin'Up inspiration. Somewhere along the line I came across your blog, and for whatever reason, I added your blog to the 30 - 40 blogs I enjoyed most every day. I recently realized that although I just love all the time I spent being inspired, I was not able to spend much time actually being creative. Besides, my family missed me. I work full time as a teacher as well, and my husband and I are raising out 12 year old mentally traumatized grandson. I had to eliminate most of my blog wandering. I "unsubscribed" to at least 30 blogs ;-(. I did keep them bookmarked so that I could go there when I have a couple of hours of downtime I want to spend on the computer though. Your blog; however, was one of the few I kept to visit every day, or at least every time you post. I enjoy your ramblings about your friendships, your travels, your chickens, your family, and especially your occasional mention of God - in addition to your paper creating inspiration with my favorite products. Even the fact that you have a hearing loss that you effectively deal with is just one more reason to stay tuned in. I don't know how in the world you have time to watch tv, but the fact that you do, and you seem to care about the characters, has endured me to you. I remember my grandmother talking like that about the shows she watched the last decade or so of her life. If the sad day ever comes when I "unsubscribe" to your blog, it won't have anything to do with you! You're inspiring and funny and I can tell that people and God are important to you. I'd keep you bookmarked though, so I could easily find you again.
God bless your day!

Don't let the "unsubscribers" get you down. They probably just don't find our love of stamps in their vocabulary any more. Their loss!! I wouldn't miss your posts for anything. I love your stories and all the fun that you have. Keep doing what you do, you have a lot of followers out here that love you!
Teeny Tiny Wishes is always within arms reach for me. Another favorite lately is Delightful Dozen.
Are we going to see you at the Phoenix Regional next weekend?

Hi Diana, i just love your blog, and style. My favorite stamp set at the moment is Everything Eleanor, I just love its versatility. Did you know that the Tiny Tiny Tag punch fits right in the box with the wooden stamp set?

My blog sidebar states very clearly that I'm Christian, so anybody who drops by knows that I'm striving to live a Christian way of life....has never been a problem, as far as I know, so I'd discount that theory.
A previous comment mentioned having just too much "schtuff" to get through, every day....that would be my guess....she just doesn't have the time.
Either that, or she has no taste....haaaa!
Keep cluckin' with the rest of the chicks, Di....'swhat I love about ya!

Hi Di,
I can't imagine anyone unsubscribing to your blog!!! I love visiting it all the time.
As for the stamp set that never leaves my desk, it would have to be Teeny Tiny Wishes...I just can't part with that Stamp set!
Enjoy your Sunday! Hugs!

My favorite is Teeny Tiny Wishes. It can be used on any card anywhere.
I love your blog and look forward to it everyday. The way you post I feel as though we are sitting in your stamping room talking. Thanks for all you do.

Di, don't let those unsubscribers get to you! It's their loss! I enjoy your cards but mostly follow for the "this & that"! Love to check in every day to see what you're up to. You make me smile!

Hi Di--just want you to know that I enjoy your blog--the updates on programs-your girls-recipes that you share etc. Most of all your creations--when I read your daily words I actually see you smiling and happy--so if someone left your site--its okay--at least you care enough to wonder why, but do not give it too much of your energy. You continue to do what you are doing. Have a great week. Raquel

I'm still here!! I love reading your blog, and I get so many great ideas.
Okay, so to answer your question: I make a point to put all my stamping supplies away after I use them because I have a corner of a multipurpose room for my crafting, rather than a dedicated space, so if I want little fingers to stay out of it, I have to do that! But I do keep a few things near to hand in the closet where I store everything. All my wood sentiment sets (Teeny Tiny Wishes, Sincere Salutations, Afterthoughts, Short and Sweet, etc.) are within easy reach.
