Color Challenge #8 - Christmas Classics

This week's color challenge is a nice bright combo.  These colors make me think of summer, but I wanted to put a Christmas spin on it.

So I have a new favorite show for Sunday night, another reason to keep HBO (note to self - call Direct TV today). I am so enjoying "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency", it is such a fun show and I love their accents, I love how they say happy cause it comes out heppy, baby is like bebby, Daddy is Deddy..cute!  They have such fun problems to solve and little mishaps along the way.  What a great show, you should watch it at least once.

Color Challenge #7 - Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme

Tell me you won't be singing that song all day now?

Well I did it!  I made my own Color Challenge thingie.  Sankari has been so sweet to make them for me, but once I got the MDS I thought there had to be a way for me to do it, and I did it!  I will still play with it more, but this turned out not too bad I think.

These colors were just inspired by me putting away scraps of paper left over from classes, or working on a swap.  Sometimes that is the best way to see if you like something.  You have all your cardstock scraps sitting there and then you go "hey, that looks good together" so then I punch circles out of each piece of cardstock and then I glue them in my inspiration book in a cluster, so I remember the next time.  I am so visual that this is easier for me then just writing down Sage Shadow, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, Handsome Hunter, cause when you SEE the colors then you can FEEL the emotion of what the colors are...how about that for being all spiritual with my stamping. But I am sure you know what I mean, certain colors make you feel different...like you might say oh that makes me think cold, or these colors make me think of the beach.

This weeks color challenge was inspired by this photo. It has been fun looking online for inspiration, it makes me want to decorate..ha!

Color Challenge #5 - Snow Buddies

This week's color challenge is a fun one too. I am loving the new Hostess set from the Holiday Mini Catalog called Snow Buddies, and these colors make him, or her fresh and fun.

My inspiration came from this cluster of pillows.
