Stamping With Di: Mystery hostess Workshop

Today was my Mystery Hostess workshop and it was so fun, afterwards the girls asked if I would join them for lunch at the Deli...hmmm? What do you think I said? Ha! Good answer. It was delicious as usual.

I am gonna be quick with my post tonight as I have a headache, I keep trying to get stuff done thinking I will just ignore it and it will go away, well it aint happening, it's a hanger on-er so I am gonna give in and go to bed.

This is one of the cards the girls did at class, I got the idea from a card by Tara Bilbao, I hope I spelled that right, I am going off of the watermark on the card. Thanks for the idea Tara!

I changed it a bit, different ribbon treatment and embellishment but the layout is the same. Ya know what? The only thing that is stamped on the card is the greeting. The flower and strawberries and writing on the main focal part of the card, that is actually on the DSP pack of Botanical Gazette. We just colored the flower with a blender pen and ink. Neat eh?

I showed the girls how to get even more use out of their jewelry tag punch...

I have a Mystery Hostess workshop tomorrow so I am just finishing up the make n takes. I saw this cute little take out box made with the Petal Cone die by Dawn Olchefske, I decorated mine with a different tag and ribbon. Thanks for the idea Dawn I love it.

I stamped the greeting with Chocolate Chip and also in Real Red, then I cut out certain pieces of the cupcakes and glue dotted them on to give the tag some dimension.

Of course the tag is "tied" on with a vintage trinket pin, I swear we'll be earning that Stampin' Up! incentive trip to Disneyland next year with me ordering vintage trinkets...ha! I can't get enough of them.

Isn't this box adorable? I picked up some chocolates for the girls to stick inside theirs when they finish it. Mine is empty as it wil sit on my shelf as a display, I hate to waste chocolate and let it turn all hard and white inside the box.
