OK so that really should be RAK (random act of kindess) but then it would not be as cute...so I am pretending that Elmer Fudd is reading the blog title, you know him and that wascally wabbit?

Jeff and I went to see Hunger Games tonight, well it was actually 3:30 in the afternoon, and I was surprised how many people were in the theater.  It was really good, and I think they did a great job, and the girl that plays the main character Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence did such an awesome job and I bet she would have been perfect as Bella in Twilight, much better than Kristen Stewart, although now it would be hard to think of anyone else in the role.

I wanted to share this cute card I got from Wendie Waldman, she and a bunch of her ladies came to our Spring Fling and she sent me this card as a thank you, how sweet eh? Thanks Wendie!

I still can't figure out how to get a good picture when the color red is involved, so I apologize to Wendie that her card does not look as gorgeous on here as it does in real life.

I can't believe that Sale-a-Bration is almost over. I am sure going to miss the Everyday Enchantment DSP, and the Elementary Elegance Stamp Set.

Today I finally got started on my taxes, I am about half done. Don't know why I procrastinate, if I did it throughout the year it would be easier.  Will this year be the year that I do my files quarterly?  I hope so.

So since I have stacks of papers everywhere I did not stamp at all today, and we even had pizza for supper. So how be I share some Sale-a-Bration samples from when I was at Leadership.  I don't know why I didn't share them before now.  At least you still have time to get these Sale-a-Bration freebies, plus there are a few that I totally want to make.

I love this stamp set that is free with a $50.00 order, but only through March 31.  I am really going to miss it when it is gone.

This is one of the cards from my Stamp Club for February and it was the thank you card for on-line orders for the month of January.

I can't remember where I saw it, I am usually so good about keeping track. It might have been on display at Leadership or Regionals...if I figure it out I'll come back and fix the post. Added since original...it was my friend Catherine Pooler...I can't believe I forgot.  I changed it just a tad. Thanks Catherine!

So my BFF Tracy went home today, she left about 2:30am, my hubby dropped her off at the airport on his way to work. She made her flights so he could pick her up after work and drop her off before...what a sweetie eh? It helps she is from the east coast, she had a long travel day.  She texted about 4:00 that she was with her hubby, so odd it seemed she was just here and now she was home already. I miss her.

I am gonna hit the hay, and get up early tomorrow.

I have a 10/10/20 All Occasions Card Class scheduled for this weekend, but when we were at Leadership Stampin' Up! surprised us with a regional in Phoenix for this weekend.  Well luck had it that I had not really announced this class, the only ones that knew about it were the people that were at classes recently and signed up then, as well as Lois who had scheduled a private class at her house.  We have Spring Fling this month and really I was scratching my head why I had scheduled a class to begin with.  I love classes! Ha!  So I didn't have too many people to move around so that I could attend the regional.  I have a quite a few of my local downline going and I wanted to attend with them.

So I have been cutting paper like a mad woman so I can get it all done by Thursday night. Lois' private class is Friday morning then in the afternoon, Rhonda, MAMMa and I are going to get a hotel room near the convention center. Rhonda and I have to be there really early Saturday morning and we didn't want to fight traffic, plus it would have meant me getting up like at 4am or something.

This is one of the cards they will be doing.  I found this card layout by Donna Ross and just loved it (thanks Donna). I changed the set and the border punch but it is really her layout.

So while I was cutting paper tonight I had on the TV and Tim Allen's new series was on "Last Man Standing". Do you watch that?  I keep waiting for him to grunt like an ape like he did on "Home Improvement". In fact it reminds me a lot of that show. This time instead of 3 sons he has 3 daughters instead of tools it is sporting equipment, instead of a brunette wife, he has a blond wife. But it seems funny. Someday I'll sit down and watch a whole episode.

Well I better get my butt off here and get back to work. That paper ain't gonna cut itself.

Today was an emotional day.

Fun cause I had class this morning and it was great to see everyone.  

Then my Dad Dodds called and said he is getting a pacemaker put in this week so that has me worried a bit, he is not worried and the girls at class said it is an outpatient surgery, that just baffles my mind.

I have been getting such great comments and emails about my worrying about if I did anything wrong to make people unsubscribe, some made me laugh, most made me feel good, a couple even made me cry. You are all the very best.

Then my Mum emailed me and told me about a little incident with Granny that had me worried, so I was on the phone with her for a while, and it makes me realize Granny won't be here forever, and I don't want to accept that.  I know that I should not be so selfish cause I am sure Poppa who has been waiting for her for 14 years would like to see her again as I am sure she wants to see him too, but it is hard to imagine her not being here. Even though I live in Arizona and she is all the way in Canada, I still know she is there ya know?

Ok enough of this talk, I gotta dry my eyes and get back to cutting paper, (I had the movie Titanic on...yeah that helped...not!) but I wanted to show you the cute card I did for Mimeograph Monday, it is from the big catalog on page 157. It used a set called Little Additions and I didn't have that so I replaced the hearts with the butterfly from Elementary Elegance (free with a $50.00 order), it also had real stitching on it but I just used my white gel pen and added fake ones and it still looks cute.

Did you watch Grey's Anatomy tonight?  It was kinda neat the whole "what if" part of it.  I did miss George though, I wish he had of been on there.  It was cool seeing the guy that was shot and killed in one of the episodes when a bunch of people got shot at the hospital, he was alive and well, and then he got mad at the end and said "just shoot me".  It was neat how things were kinda looking like they would turn into the way it really is eventually.

Cause it was like what I think deja vu is...here goes...what I believe...I think when we are born God has our lives already planned out for us, but we still have free will and we can make our own decisions, so lets say we are walking down the street and we are really supposed to turn right cause that is where we will meet our future husband, but instead we turn left and see a job posted and we go in and get that job and our life goes this way for a while.  A few years later while you are on a lunch break you bump into a guy who you think you have met before, in fact you get that tingly deja vu feeling...that is when I think that Ok your life is back on track again, this was the guy you were supposed to meet when you turned right.  I think that is why when we meet certain people we just totally click ya know? And then others we clack with, or just grow apart over time. I don't know that is just what I think anyway...ok off my little soapbox and back to what you came here for...stamping...not blabbering.

I have a class this weekend where everyone is getting the Apothecary Art stamp set and a bunch of other goodies, including their choice of a Sale-a-Bration item. This is one of the cards they will be doing.  I got this card in a swap from MAMMa, and I just changed the flowers up a bit by adding some Baja Breeze with the Riding Hood Red ones.

I finally watched a full episode of American Idol, I have been only catching snippets of it.  The only name I remember is Kyle Cruise, and then tonight there was the bleeding head guy, he ws good and the Lauren girl they compared to Carrie Underwood, she was good...I didn't want to watch all the craziness, so I am waiting till they get to Hollywood and that is next week, so then I will go back to my critiquing ok?  Even though I was mad about last year's kicking off of James Durbin, he is doing amazing on his own so I am over it.

So Fiji has finally figured out where to lay her eggs, she has laid the last three I think in her nesting box.  In fact tonight when Jeff got home from work he brought me in an egg and I asked if he checked Fiji and he said she was laying, so I hurried out there and watched her, I know I'm weird, I just wanted to see if she did all the cackling the other girls do, and she didn't she was so quiet, it took her about 5 minutes or so, and then plop out it came.

I need to be making some egg salad, and some crepes, Jeff loves the banana, chocolate and whip creme ones.

Well this old gal is calling it a day, and heading to bed.

Lickety Split

That's how quick this post will be.  Today I had stamp club and then Rhonda came over and we worked on finalizing our designs for Spring Fling, so it is...oh my gosh...after midnight already, so I'll show you the other card from club.

So the day I was getting them ready was the day my neck was killing me and then I totally forgot to stamp the greeting on the circle before I assembled them, then it was too late. So the motto of a stamper is "there are no mistakes in stamping, only design changes" so the cards I finished for my long distance members were like this.

Just a little different, but still adorable.  I mean who doesn't love that jewelry tag and vintage trinket?

Ok, I gotta be gettin' to bed.  The guys went ice fishing today and they were whooped by the time they got home.
