Happy Bearthday

So I am gonna try this.  I noticed that when you click on the picture it gets bigger, which I want, but it gets too big and you can't see the whole card.  So I asked my PCP gal Susanna Boyd and she suggested I size the cards to like 400 pixels wide so that is what I did, so I hope this works.  If not then I will try something else, it should be bigger when you click on it.

Added since original post:  It apparently is MY computer setting and so I went in and added the pictures like they usually look, so they should go big for you when you click on them.  My sister Jax, said I need to adjust my computer, I need to look up how to do it on Firefox.

The Time Traveler's Wife comes out today on DVD, and I am so getting it.  Toby and I have grooming appointments so while I am out I will grab it. I read the book and bawled and bawled and want to see if they did a good job with the movie. I read My Sisters Keeper and I heard that they totally changed the ending of the book, so I refuse to watch that movie now.  If I ever wrote a book and they wanted to make it into a movie, and they wanted to change the ending and I said no, they had better listen. That would be in the contract. I am the boss, I mean my gosh it is the author's story, not the director or producer or whoever goes back in and changes things.  I could see where they add little touches, like in Twilight when Bella wakes up and sees Edward in the shadow, and when she turns her head to turn on the light, when she turns back he is gone.  This was not in the book, and it did not affect the story, cause he was in her room all those nights, in fact the author even said she wishes she had of thought to put that in the book.  But when they change totally, ugh.  Books I can think of off the top of my head are Cujo, The Horse Whisperer, and the aforementioned (how ya like that big word?) My Sisters Keeper.

So I was looking at a Papercraft Magazine and saw this cute layout for this card.  When I get these magazines I just rip out what I want to case and that goes in a file and then I toss the magazine, or we use them in class as a glue pad.

This is from the front, and it looks funky the way the picture is taken cause the part with the ribbon looks so big, and the bear looks so far away.

This is from the inside, I love putting the greeting on the side.

This is how the card is from the top.  Here are the dimensions:

Start out with a 11 x 4 1/4" piece of cardstock, I used Whisper White. With long side horizontal, score vertical lines at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" from left end.  Then fold the scored lines like an accordian to make a Z-fold card. You can see by the picture how it goes. Then just decorate the card as you wish.

Stamp Set: Beary Best Friends, Beary Nice Wishes, Itty Bitty Backgrounds

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Bashful Blue, Sahara Sand, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Rose Red, Old Olive

Paper: Whisper White, Old Olive, So Saffron, Rose Red, Sweet Pea DSP

Misc: Scallop circle punch for cloud stencil, white gel pen, Old Olive grosgrain

As I sit and type I have the TV on to the Ghost Whisperer, it comes on at night, I don't watch it much, but I can't believe the one I am watching is a repeat.  It just plays in the background.  I have to get off here and get back to work.

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!
