Looks Like Candy

Doesn't it? You know that striped ribbon like candy.  But really this was a fun, quick, inexpensive gift that I copied from my friend Tiffany Bauer. I made a few for gifts and a Hostess gift too. Thanks Tiffany for the amazing idea, you da bomb girlfriend! Can't wait to hug your neck in Nashville. Yeehaw!!

Recipe:

small size "Jingle all the Way" decor element in Real Red (#114707) it is an amazing price of only $3.50

Paper: Candy Cane Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper (#120809)

Misc: Candy Cane Big Designer Button (#121718), Real Red Striped Grosgrain ribbon (#119768)

I got the frame from Micheals, I don't usually like to mention craft store names BUT I did check Joannes and they did not have this frame, so I didn't want you driving all over.

I used my hot glue gun to attach the ribbon to the front and bent it to have some personality.

Not only was it fun to make, it was so much fun taking pictures of it.

I love taking shots where I look down on things. The angles are fun.

It was fun lining them up and taking their picture too.  I think it would look nice hung but just as nice on a plate stand.

Well that is it for me, I gotta finish up my workshop stuff for tomorrow.  Jeff and I spent our Anniversary together, we went to lunch, and OMG! I found an antique store not too far from the house, I got a few things I will share with you tomorrow, and there was a few furniture pieces I have my eyes on.  Jeff says they don't go with the house, but I don't think it matters with antiques, plus I am thinking for my stamp room. If I get a laptop, I am thinking that I could take my desk out of here and put it in the house right? And just have the lap top out here???

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!
