Soft "Suede" as Snow
November 23, 2010
As I was blog hoppin' around checking out some of my faves I saw a cute card layout on Renee Van Stralen's blog so I thought it would be a great one to do for my Stamp a Stack of Christmas cards.
I hadn't used this image yet from my Jolly Old Saint Nick set, and he fit the circle punch perfectly. Can you be addicted to the vintage trinkets? Cause I do believe I might be.

I wanted to show you, Carey especially...ha! (hugs to you and Roscoe) the few things I picked up the other day. There was a flea market in the parking lot at the antique mall, my niece Lauren and I got there about 7:30 am, I didn't find a desk, but I did find a few fun things that I will be using in my studio.
I found a long bread loaf pan (I have never seen one this long) and I also got a sewing machine drawer, I have seen them at a few places, but this one was in really good shape. They are perfect for ribbon.
I picked up some measuring spoons for my glitters and embossing powders and this pointy wheel thing. I have seen my idol Anna Wight do some wicked stuff with this tool so I am gonna try it out. The lady had everything half off, so this little bunch of stuff was a steal.
I'm not sure what I am going to do with this for real. Right now it has door prize/hostess gift stuff in it. I don't think it's an antique, but I like enamelware stuff.
I also got this, it's a hard fold out ruler. I had totally forgot about these things, until the man came to measure for my studio and he used one of these a few times and then I was like "my Poppa had one of those". So when I saw it there I had to have it. They had two different ones and they were two different brands, and this one seemed better, much more tighter and I even called my BFF Tracy's cutie patootie Steve. He is a jack of all trades and one of those is a carpenter, and he even named this brand without me telling him. So I was right this was the better one, and now I own it and it sits on my work table.
At one of the antique stores I saw that they had scrabble tiles that spelled out stuff and I thought what a fun idea. So I have these words placed around my studio. Fun eh?
There is just one week left to join my Di's Country INKer's team for only $87.50 (that is the price in the US) that is 50% off the regular price. You have your choice of the Standard Kit or the Digital & Starter Kit. Holy Moly what a deal!
