Today was so much fun. My sweet girlfriend Melissa (hey honey!) and I have been trying to schedule a double header movie day and to go see Bridesmaids and The Hangover Two together, and today finally was the day! We met early, bought the tickets for both movies at the same time cause how we had it figured we had 15 minutes once the one ended to get into see the second one, and we timed it perfect. We had time to potty in between and everything.
Both movies were awesome, but we both agreed that we laughed more with tears coming out of our eyes in Bridesmaids, and I so love Melissa McCarthy, she is hilarious on Mike and Molly and even funnier in this movie. We were wondering about her wrist wrap in the film as nothing was mentioned about it, and it went from one hand to the other. I also wish the movie had of been turned up a bit as I missed some of the jokes but I will definitely be buying this one.
We went to Pita Jungle for lunch and I had totally forgot I had been there with Ellie and Maureen till we walked inside. Then we had a Groupon for some delicious gelato at Gelato Dolce Vita at a new place across from the theater, we will definitely be going back there.
I wanted to do a Mimeograph Monday card and since I don't have a ton of the new sets yet I picked one of the Hostess sets, and this is not my favorite card that I mimeographed but I love the set. I would have prefered to do the other card but I don't have everything to do it yet...I say yet cause July 1 we can all order out of the new catalog!! Yeah!!! If you don't have your new catalog yet, and you don't have a regular Demonstrator let me know. Catalogs are free with a $100.00 (before tax and shipping) order, or $6.00 to cover the shipping and handling. Just let me know.
Stamp Set: Simply Soft, Pennant Parade
Paper: Soft Suede, White Naturals, Baja Breeze DSP, Soft Suede DSP
Ink: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Old Olive
Misc: Vintage brads
I guessed at the recipe and I will admit I prefer the one out of the catalog better.
So have you ever watched the cooking shows or the 24 hour restaurant one and the judges wear a hearing aid. I am wondering what they are being told in there. Like when they are on camera or what? The first time I ever noticed it was on Chef Robert, and I just assumed he was hard of hearing, but then I noticed it on all the judges on the 24 hour restaurant show. Just curious.
Well I am gonna say night night and head to bed, I gotta go get blood drawn in the morning so I have to fast, best do it early so I don't starve right?
Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.
