Ends November 30

Today I worked on my November Thank you cards for Online orders. I loved the Mimeograph Monday card from yesterday so much I wanted to do it, but I replaced the crown trinket with a stamp and I loved how it turned out.  You only have till November 30 to place an online order in my store to get one mailed to you. Don't forget about my Country Dozen Rewards.

I made it into a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" card, as well as changing the trinket crown, I also changed the seam binding and bakers twine too, but other than that it is the same.

So many of you emailed and asked for the dimensions for the Snow Much Fun Gift Card Holder that I whipped up a quick video. Enjoy!

I'm gonna say nightie night, and get some shut eye.

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks so much for stopping in.

Mimeograph Monday - You're a Gem

Ends Soon! Don't Miss the Great Deals!

003 copy

Are you enjoying my Mimeograph Monday posts?  Personally, I love doing them , I think it is fun looking through the catalog and deciding what project I want to copy, it is challenging sometimes to see all the little details, and wonder where something was used based on the recipe.  It makes my Sunday a little more laid back in my posting.

If you want to do the same, I have put the 2011 Idea Book & Catalog recipe PDF below...have fun!

To figure out the sizes of the cards I usually do the main focal point first then you can usually figure out the final card size.  This card is a 3x3. I have a soft spot in my heart for square cards...does that make me a square?

I'm gonna sign off for tonight, the Next Iron Chef show is coming on, and I wanna see who gets kicked off. I am liking Chef Faulkner, and Chef Kazarian to go head to head at the end, even though Chef Kazarian likes to make multiple dishes and he has been told repeatedly not to do that, but they seem to be really good and I think the best. Chef Anne and that white cotton candy hair and those weird faces she makes drives me nuts.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.

Have you watched that show?  Jeff and I watched it most of the day, it was like the whole season or something was being shown one after each other.  Some of the things brought in were cool, and it was neat when they restore stuff. I always wonder if the people that got $100.00 for an item watch the show and then the thing gets restored and is worth $4K do they smack their head against the wall?

Too funny one episode had a book by Ernest Hemingway on there and I was like hey I have that book...of course mine is not first edition and a cover sleeve to keep in good shape.  So they bought this book and then this guy comes in the shop and I am like hey that is a famous guy, and Jeff didn't know, so then he talks to the camera and they just said his name was George, and I told Jeff its like George Papdoplous or something, and Jeff was like who's that? So then the guy was checking out the book and then the owner of the shop comes over and says hey you're George Stephanopoulos and I was like see I just said his last name wrong. So then I had to google to tell Jeff who he was, so that was cool.

This is one of the cards from Rhonda's shoebox swap and this gem was Rhonda's card (love it and love you girlfriend)

Snow Much Fun Gift Card Holder

At Founder's Circle one of the swaps I got was the cutest gift card holder from Kelly Acheson (Hey Kelly!!) and I totally wanted to do it for the club girls this month.

Added since original post...I got tons of emails asking for the directions, so I did up a video tutorial.

The little snowman is a belly band and it slides off the card.

004 copy
Inside is a medium envelope that is sealed and then the ends are cut off to make it be 5 x 4 3/8, then score it down the 5" side to make two pockets. One holds the little greeting and the other one holds the gift card.

The little Round Tab punch makes it easy to pull them out.
