Ok, this is the two legged kind instead of the...well two legged, with wing kind.

For my downline going to convention I wanted to give them something fun, every year I try to do something different.

005 copy
I did a personalized MDS journal for each of them, I gave them a pencil and a Dr. Suess eraser (not in picture, I found them later and couldn't resist), a bling lanyard with their bling initial on it. The logo for convention was like a black board so I wanted it to look like an old school book. I think they liked them.

Here's a few people pictures, I was bad and didn't take tons, so hopefully people that did will email them to me.

Di and rhonda texting
Rhonda and I texting (well pretending to) this was before awards started. This fun picture was taken by my sweet friend Robin Merriman. We are pretending to be generation y people, although Rhonda and I just made it into generation x.

MAMMa took this one, up at the awards booth finding out that I was going to Founder's Circle again. Thanks to my awesome downline and amazing customers that help make it happen.

P1060225
My cutie patootie friend Kim, we were trying to not get the double chins in the picture, so we were trying a new angle.

P1050936
Melissa, Jacque, MAMMa, me (in back), Rhonda and Liz (in front).  This was probably during make n takes. It should be renamed gab n takes.

Convention 2012 169 copy
My sweet friend and downline Jacque and I at lunch, she's rockin' her bling.

Convention 2012 172 copy
Liz and I, she is such a cutie.

Convention 2012 260 copy
My sweet friend Patsy, who I met and kinda adopted on our first Alaska cruise.  I recognized her last name from a fellow local demonstrator who had the same one, and we hooked up to sit together for make n takes and we have been friends ever since.

Convention 2012 425 copy
My cute as a bug friend Missy, I will never forget the first year I found out I earned Founder's Circle, she came up to me, we didn't know each other, and she kissed me on the cheek, gave me a hug and congratulated me, I will never forget that, I love her.

Convention 2012 155
On stage for Fiji. There is Georgia, Robin, Tiffany and me...can't wait.

Convention 2012 123 copy
A couple of my two darlin' downline. Kristen from MI, and Barb from IL. They got to know each other before last years convention through emails so when they roomed together it would not be awkward and these two hit it off. This is their second and hopefully not the last convention.

So I am probably nuts for showing you this...but I wanna give MAMMa another laugh, plus it's not like you can see my bum or anything. After the awards night, we went back to our room and we were going to go down for a cold drink so I wanted to change, Rhonda was in the bathroom so I figured I would change in the room, heck MAMMa has the same things as me and I was not going to be naked.  So anyway, I have put on some weight so I wore a spanx underneath my dress that night, as I was pulling off my dress, I forgot that the dress had a slip lining that was attached at the straps (I think it was sticking to the spanx), so as I took off the dress part I forgot about the slip lining and I was stuck, well MAMMa was laughing so hard, she had to get her camera, well I tried to get it off fast so she couldn't take the picture, but it was hung up on my wrist corsage. The harder I tried to get it off the more I got stuck.

P1050808
Yes, so attractive. MAMMa had to come to my rescue with tears running down her face from laughing.

P1050809
MAMMa finally got my corsage unhooked and I had to smile for the camera, ok really I just look insane, but we were laughing so hard, we thought we were going to pee our panties/spanx, and poor Rhonda is yelling from the bathroom "what am I missing?" Thank goodness MAMMa was there to take pictures...so we could relive it...ha!

Goes to show you can dress me up...well you can dress me up.

So why did I embarass myself by showing these crazy pictures? (if you can't laugh at yourself...right?) Well just to show you that the friendships and the fun times you can have as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, and also to save up your pennies and plan to go with me next year for the 25th Annniversary.

OK, this red faced girl is off to bed, have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in. Hopefully I won't get too many unsubscribes.

This will be a quick post. Rhonda came over today so we could get Fall Fest figured out, and she left a bit ago, and it was around 11:00pm. It's after midnight now.

We took a break around 3:00 or so I think to get lunch and while we were eating a huge storm came up and rained and poured, we waited it out and then went home. On the way we saw like metal stuff in the fields and I guess a microburst went through while we were gone. Luckily it didn't do anything to our place (that we know of). But some of our friends have a mess to clean up, trees down, trees through roofs, roofs flying off houses...ugh.

The stupid bees are still up in the tree and if they are there tomorrow I am calling the pest control company. We moved Alice and the chicks as they were directly under it. Also when I got up this morning Jeff said that Alice was done laying and sure enough, the last three eggs were not viable, and she was not laying on them anymore, in fact she was covering them with dirt at one point. I said "what about these babies?" One was cracked but the little chick was dead and stinky so I threw it away, I left the other two in there, and then when I went out later she had just pushed them over to the door of the coop and her and the babies were in the back all snuggly warm, so I threw them away.  We are happy that 6 of the 9 hatched.  I will wait a few days before we move Alice and the babies in the big pen. We are going to enclose them in the smaller side yard pen they used to use so that they can get a big bigger but have more running around room, but with this crazy weather I am glad they are up off the ground.

I wanted to show you this gorgeous card I got from my friend and downline Kathya Hidalgo, she sent her check for Fall Fest in it.  I love it. Thanks Kathya!

I better get my butt to bed, I have a workshop on Wednesday and there are 21 people going to be there, so I need to cut paper tomorrow.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.

I got the cutest card from MAMMa at convention so I tweaked it a bit and used it for one of the stamp club cards. It uses yummy new DSP, and tons of other stuff from the Holiday Catalog, that starts August 1. Are you excited? You should be, it is jam packed with must have stuff.

Jeff is going to have a shed/garage built, he has wanted one for years and we found a guy that does awesome work, so when he went to get the permit the way they have our address makes the front of the property all weird so we have to go change our address. We should have done it years ago cause the address is really wrong, but we put it off.  A few months ago when I had to call the fire truck and it drove right by our street and couldn't find us that should have made me do it. In fact they said we should go get it fixed cause that 2 minutes turning around could be the difference between life and death. So basically we will have to have our address changed, it will be a pain having to change EVERYTHING, but it will be better, and maybe now UPS won't deliver to the wrong house.

So if you have ever been to  my house, just know we aren't moving but the address will be different, I have no idea what it will be yet.

So we now have 3 yellow chicks and 3 black chicks, one more yellow one was born last night, in fact this morning when I went out I picked up who I thought was Mork and then realized it wasn't, this was a new chick. It rained this afternoon and there was a big old swarm/glob whatever of bees in the tree above the coop, so I didn't want to go out there tonight to see if anymore are on their way. Maybe tomorrow, we'll wake up to new ones. Richard came over (he is the neighbor who gave us the fertilized eggs) he was saying I have them spoiled already, and we teased him and called him Grandpa.

Enough blabbering, check out this cute card.

Introducing Mork

So the other little yellow chick I am calling Chaquita, as in banana. So when this little one was being hatched today I was like oh another yellow one, and then I was like well just like Mork from Ork emerged from an egg, we got to witness this one, so Tada! Mork...now to be able to tell the difference as they grow.

009 copy
Here you can see the little chick trying to hatch, the other ones were curious and would peck at her once in a while, and even sit on the egg.

015 copy
Here they all are, and it didn't take long for Mork to fluff up. The two hatched today are really sleepy though, the three hatched yesterday are much more active. In fact Chaquita was pecking on Mork's feet, bad baby.

Here you can see Mork hatch, I think it's cool. I took it in a few videos as it took some time, and just put them together.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

They're Here!

I went to the grocery store this morning and picked up a few things and I also grabbed a watermelon for the girls. Jeff cut a hunk off and I took it out.  I broke off a piece to give to Alice in her nesting box, and when she reached for it, I saw it...a little chick stuck its head out! OMG! They are here...well three are anyway, there are still 6 eggs to go. I didn't think they would start hatching till the 30th, but maybe some had already been sat on before we got them.

005 copy
Here's the first little guy I saw, such a fluff ball.

004 copy
Then I could see another black one and a yellow one beside her.

Eric thought he heard cheeping this morning he said.

006 copy
Here's Alice saying "take a picture, it'll last longer" ha! Aren't they cute? I didn't think she would have black ones, cause the eggs were almost white. I can't get over how black their feet are. We never saw our girls this young.

008 copy
Adorable!

009 copy
I'm not naming them yet, till they are all hatched. I went out later and Alice had come down the ladder to exercise or poop or whatever and thank God I went out when I did as one little black guy was out on the ledge and would have fallen, so we quickly moved Alice, the chicks and the eggs into Fiji's old coop so she can hatch the rest and let these little guys get some size before they go in the big coop. What excitement!

Here's a quick video.

Have a great Friday and thanks for stopping in.
