Last month my downline and I did a masculine swap and I wanted to make a video showing how I did my card. The card is based on one by a sweet Canadian cutie named Renee Van Stralen. Thanks Renee!

The inside is fun, I need to do this more often.

The pieces have been sitting on my desk for me to do the video and I finally got around to doing it today. I have a couple little minor boo-boo's. Couldn't remember if I had glued the red striped paper first (but tested before I glued...smart) and also I set the Sketched Birthday stamp set on top of my black card piece and couldn't find it while I was taping, so had to stop and start again in a spot, there was also a little bug crawling around, guess he wanted to go sailing too...oh well it's all fun eh? I hope you enjoy the video.

I mentioned in the video about a watercoloring tutorial, here is the link to the PDF.

Have a Happy Easter and thanks for stopping in.

What? Yes, so today I worked on assembling my frame of all the little mini masterpieces my downline and I made, as well as the little mini masterpieces that I will be sending to the stampers who participated in my Online Mystery Workshop in March. Thanks to the amazing Cecile Ortiz for the inspiration for these gems.

Added since original post: I removed the picture of the finished frame my downline and I did because of confusion. In this day and age of pinterest and all the social media it gets mixed up where things originate from.  So the frame my downline and I did we personally did it, but we cased most of the little masterpieces from Cecile so I would rather you go look at her original one and make your own like we did.

All in a row, ready to be mailed to their new homes.

This shows you how big they are. So adorable.

I had so much fun making them I thought, hmmm...I wonder if anyone would be interested in getting one in the mail each month?

So what I am going to do starting in April (can you believe it is just days away?) is if you place a single $50.00 or more (before tax and shipping) order in my online store, you will get a little masterpiece of your own (they will be different each month). Please note: workshop & club orders do not count. More details will be posted on April 1. You can collect them to make a frame, you can use them on a card, they are cute even in a little frame all on their own.  I am thinking perhaps the little bee one would be cute for April, what do you think? I'll figure it out and post it on April 1, so you know what one you will get. Fun eh?

Since this is something new I am trying, I'll be testing it out for a couple months to see if you like it. Holler if you have any questions.

A few questions, since original post:

Q: If I place a single order of at least $50.00 before tax and shipping each month in your online store, I will get a new mini masterpiece in the mail each month.

A: Yes, you need to place a qualifying order each month in order to earn the monthly mini masterpiece.

Q: Will the little rectangle scallop piece be included?

A: Yes your little mini masterpiece will be mounted on the rectangle piece all ready to use.

Q: Can I pick what mini masterpiece I get?

A: Sorry no, each month I will post what the mini masterpiece will be for that month, and then you can decide if you like it or not.

Q: If I order $100.00 before tax and shipping do I get two mini masterpieces?

A: No, sorry you just earn one a month. Mean aint I?

Q: Since this is a new thing, how can we get the cage and eggs, I missed the March Mystery Hostess Online Workshop?

A: April 2013 is the only month you can let me know (after you place your qualifying order for April) that you would like the bird cage mini masterpiece. After April, I won't be offering that one anymore (I hope you understand).

Q: Is the frame included?

A: Sorry, no the frame is not included, each month you will receive your little mini masterpiece in the mail, it is up to you what you use to display them on, or if you want to simply add them to a card or scrapbook page.

I picked up the frame at Hobby Lobby, it is an 8x10. I put a piece of the Fan Fair DSP underneath the glass, and then added some of the Artisan Embellishment Lace ribbon on the sides, the little masterpieces are actually stuck on the front of the glass using dimensionals. Tip: that I totally thought of after I had them half attached. Lay your glass on a grid sheet and use it to help line everything up.

Well this old gal is off to beddie bye.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

This and That 001 copy

Eek! My This and That bundle got here today. It was here waiting for me when I got home from my tax appointment and some shopping with my sweet friend Melissa.  I also picked up some convention goodie things for my downline that is going with me.  Are you wanting to attend Stampin' Up!'s 25 Anniversary year convention celebration? Well you can and guess what until March 31 you get 25% more in the starter kit. That is right $156.50 worth of stuff for only $99.00 and tax. I would love to have you join my team!

Look how cute and I know just what I am going to do with it. Fiji!!!! I am totally going to use it on our trip (not my chicken). I might do some things ahead of time, make some pages with the date stamp so they are ready to write on. You can order yours too, and let me know what you plan to do with it.  They make awesome gifts too. That young student headed back to school what a fun "journal" for a year of school. That new Mum, and maybe a book during her pregnancy or the baby's first year. Fun stuff.

Well this old gal is off, just a quick post today. Eric went to the ballgame with his work friends tonight, so Jeff and I went out on a date for supper.  I love our dates. Now I think we are going to watch a movie.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

I have mentioned Cecile Ortiz before and she does amazing stuff (bowing to Cecile), and she has made this frame with 15 mini masterpieces. Well I wanted to make it and then I thought maybe my team would be interested in doing a swap, so I asked and I will be rootin' tootin' we filled the swap in like one or two days, in fact I even had a waiting list if anyone dropped out...too cute. We all picked one of the mini masterpieces, made 15 of them and then we swapped them.

This is the one I picked.

I took the picture before I mounted it on it's rectangle piece. I can't wait to frame them all (I gotta find a frame)...but I have been working on taxes...yay all done, now to get them to the accountant so I can get back to fun stuff.

Got adding machine paper??? Yep!!

The Voice & Survivor...if you have not watched either, look away...

The Voice from the other night. Here is my two cents...I hope I have the names right...

Tawnya, I loved her voice and that is totally my kinda country. I can't believe that Blake didn't pick her.

Josiah, so cute and Usher is so funny with his leg all up on the chair being all sexy.

Midas Whale (prounounced Might as Well) - loved that! Will be interesting to see what happens with them.

So the one girl sang in spanish (can't remember her name)...I prefer them to sing in English, it's bad enough to be deaf, but it is even worse when I don't know the language. Her and Shakira will make a good team.

Sarah - wow she was so unique, and can't wait to see more of her.

I have never watched the show except for the last two or three episodes from last season, so I am enjoying the whole spinning chairs, the fighting over the singers thing. It's like a carnival ride, and I wonder if they had to take dramimine before each episode.

Now let's move on to Survivor...

Tonight, are you kidding me? Get rid of Phillip, because really my eyes are going to stick in the back of my head, I roll them so much during the show. At one point during the challenge he said they could not run because the girls would tire. Then he said he could not run cause he was saving his strength cause he would have to carry the weight (when people got tired and passed their weight on), yet Corinne took the weight from one or two people when they got tired and Phillip took NONE!!!! If he talks anymore crazy covert James Bond stuff...grrr... Now it was too funny when the other team won...AGAIN..Dawn from the losing team said not to worry as the winners were going to have a diarrhea feast (the winners got cakes, cookies, brownies, and all sorts of stuff...yes even coffee and espressos...which yeah would have me running to the toilet or for the show maybe a hole under a tree, excuse me are you done with that palm leaf??). So then when the team with Phillip on it, lost the second time which sent them to tribal, Phillip actually had the nerve to tell Cochran (who reminds me of Revenge of the Nerds), who when he was sitting in the rock talking to the camera...the angle made his head look huge...kinda like when you make yourself a dancing elf at Christmas online...anyway...back to the show...Phillip said he purposely lost the challenge so they could go to tribal. I really think Phillip believes the stuff that comes out of his mouth, in fact while he was talking I think Cochran was almost laughing in his face. I was hoping they would kick Phillip off, but they didn't. What the heck? Looks like next week they join the teams, so maybe he will go then. Ouch, I'm still rolling my eyes.  Ha!

Well this old gal is off to beddie bye.

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.

While I finish up my taxes Toby wants to sit behind me on my chair seat. It is my fault because that is what I did with him when he was a puppy. He wanted to be with me all the time and he would sleep back there, and when he wanted down we would go potty. So he still thinks that is his spot, he'll scratch and scratch at my leg till I pick him up.  He has gotten a tad bit bigger and my butt has gotten a lot bigger over the years, also I have different chairs with not as much space.  When he is not back there, I usually have a pillow back there for back support.

So anyway, when I got up to go get some more tea, look how he was sitting.

Dog or Goat 002 copy
Oops guess I forgot to take away the pillow...all he could do was go up. Poor bubba!

Oh and check out this fun video using the Stampin' Up! fabric on sale...I know I gotta get me some.

Well this is a quick post, I'm still click clacking away on the calculator.

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.
