For the past several years my downline and I have gone to Benihanas the first night we are at convention. We joined with Rhonda's downline and a few sidelines and we took up 3 tables, it would have been 4 but a few of our girls didn't make it (we missed you!) It was fun, and it was hot too, here are some pictures of the night.
Tari, Anne & Mary - look at those cheesy grins!
Mary & Scott - we had a few hubbys this year!
Connie & Donna - these two are neighbors and a riot!
Melissa & Michelle - sweet Daughter and Mum, makes me jealous they live near each other
Jacque & Mike - another hubby, they drove from AZ
Nina & Barb - some more sweet grins and I see a twinkle in Barb's eye, she has something up her sleeve
Kristen & Nina - fun sisters, again jealous as I miss mine
Kathy & Camille - roomies and such fun to be around
MAMMa, Shamim & Mari - beauties!!!
We had the best chef, he was fun, and he seemed to like to play tricks, one time I thought he was squirting me with ketchup and I jumped! Can you imagine cooking this close to someone and throwing the knives and stuff? Yikes!
Well this old girl is off to bed, hard to believe July is almost over, this year is flying by ain't it?
Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.
Fall Fest registrations are coming in (we are almost sold out), and I had to laugh when I got Denise Jacques registration. Look at the funny card she made for me...love it Denise!! I have been getting other get well cards too and will share them later. Thanks everyone, you are too sweet.
This uses the Designer Typeset Photopolymer, and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets...and the new Birthday Basics DSP.
Maybe I will have to set it on my shelf so I look at it every day to drink water...although today I did make some sweet tea and had a glass of it, to break up the boredom of water, it sure tasted good.
It is almost the first of August, and the new Holiday catalog will be starting and I will be doing DSP shares, and maybe some others, let me know if you are interested.
Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in.
Another cute card, and the last one from my Giggle Greetings stamp set class. We didn't use the cheese stamp at class. If you don't have this set you should really think about it. Here are all the pieces.
This one was colored with watercolor paper, an aqua painter and ink pads. Doesn't the cat look like he has attitude and would totally be listening to blues music.
Paper:Whisper White, Soft Sky Coordinations paper, Daffodil Delight Coordinations paper, Basic Black
Ink: Jetblack stazon, Daffodil Delight, Soft Sky, Marina Mist, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler
Misc: Basic Black taffetta
I love using the coordinations paper for texture...even if you don't rub it with the sanding block, I love the look.
Well removable of the stent went off without a hitch, no pain...but an hour later OMG! it was like I had a kidney stone again, it must have irritated my urater or something, back to pain pills and the heating pad. This kidney stone is worse than the one I had a few years ago where I was blasted...drink your water, drink your water is all I will say. Maybe I should make me a MDS sign and frame it so I see it everyday.
Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.
Remember I said that we set a Guiness record with the most greeting cards sent from a single place during convention? This is the one I sent, and it went to my BFF Tracy and it is actually one of the cards we did at my Giggle Greetings class. This one was colored with blender pens, and ink pads. We colored on Shimmery White paper.
I love the new candy dots, and this time we used the base too. It is like jewelry. You can also use the bases with the rhinestones and pearls. I cased and tweaked a card by Lisa Curcio, thanks Lisa!
Paper: Shimmery White, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight DSP Designer Series Stack, Cherry Cobbler
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Pool Party, Sahara Sand, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler
Misc: Candy dots and bases, Perfect Polka dot embossing folder
Well this old girl is off to bed, I have to remove my stent tomorrow, yeah I know TMI, but I do. When the doc said I could do it I was like huh? Shouldn't I have gone to medical school, or taken a plumbing class at Home Depot or something? But I am hoping it is easy (he left a string to tug on) and doesn't hurt cause I can't wait till it is gone and not have the feeling of having to pee all the time...aint the human body so interesting?
Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.
