Did you ever see that movie? I just remember an eyeball being in the man's palm.

I finally finished my Halloween banner, I had the lollys made a while ago. Didn't it turn out cute?

This uses the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit #133507 as well as the Halloween Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit #132697

Here you can see them up a little closer.

I used a sponge dauber to add my ink colors, this is Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry. I used Jetblack Stazon for the black.

I liked using the Wild Wiseteria cause you gotta have some purple in your Halloween decorations. The lolly with the K was too big so I trimmed it in half and I love that look.

My sweet friend and downline Tari Lochhead gave me the idea of putting the moon behind the bat. Thanks Tari!

Oh and look how cute this panoramic picture is of the guest room almost ready for my sister Jax.

I still have to get a couple lamps for the night stands and I think it will be done, the one in the corner is temporary. I really wanted to put in a wood floor like Eric's room but that will have to wait, Jeff says he is too old for laying wood floors, it took him a few days to recooperate after doing Eric's, so we will have to have someone do it. The picture looks a little wonky cause of the panorama thing, but still neat like you are standing in the door way.

Well this old gal has lots of stamping to do...just realized tonight I am behind on my Top Ten cards...how in the world? So gotta git.

Mystery Hostess Online Workshop Ends Today

Today is the last day for my Mystery Hostess Online Workshop for September. There is all sorts of stuff going on, not to mention that the Magnetic Platform #130658 is available again.

Founder's Circle Swap - Tease

If you are a reader that gets my blog in their email and it does not always show up for days at a time...or longer, it is probably because you are using Feedblitz, that is one of the sign up dealies I have on my blog. I have no idea why it acts up once in a while, I also use Feedburner and if you go to the left hand column and click on the words that say Subscribe in a Reader that will open up the Feedburner and then you should have no problem getting my blog in your email. 

Now to be all mean, I thought I would tease you a bit and show you part of my Founder's Circle swap, I already showed you the stack of cardstock.

I did 130 of these...I will show you the completed card after I swap them...which reminds me I better get that post started so I can finish it will I am at Founder's Circle.

So we watched the new Star Trek movie tonight, we actually watched the first one to remind us of what was going on. Hindsight, we probably didn't need to, but it was good, I love the actors they have playing the younger roles, they do them so well.  We really enjoyed the second one too. Makes me want to watch the original series. I only saw a handful of them and I don't remember Uhura and Spock being a couple.

Well this old gal is off to bed.

Good Things Come in Small Packages

I wanted to show you one of the fun quick and cute make n takes from Fall Fest. Too funny though, it almost didn't get made that day. Rhonda had picked up the chocolates and then at Fall Fest, I asked her where they were and she was like "in my fridge so they didn't melt", so then her cutie patootie hubby Dave drove them over...yay Dave!

These are just little squares of chocolate and then cover them cute with DSP and ribbon, wouldn't this be nice to set on someone's desk at work? or perhaps a teacher?

Well after showing you the green metal holder I was going to use for extra cards...I ended up returning it.  I could not find a place for it. So I brought this home instead and I knew right where it was going. What a cute little dresser eh? Heavy too, they don't make stuff like this anymore.

Now this is just me setting stuff on top, it won't probably stay there and I need to move my bubble pictures, I don't know what else to call them, but they were Granny's and they are old.  So I had this dresser there before.

So I moved it out in the front entryway, and I love it there!  What is so funny with this whole trend of painting furniture, it is not a new trend cause I remember this dresser was Poppa and Granny's and when we got it from them (probably 20 or more years ago) it was painted white and we paid lots of money to have it professionally stripped, and after that we said we would never paint wood again.

But the new to me old dresser I got today was already painted so that does not count. It looks super cute in the guest room with the bed I re-did and my night stands. Now it is hard to tell here but the bed is shabby white and the night stands are a shabby vanilla. The dresser I got today is inbetween. I was going to paint the night stands to match the bed, but now I am not sure. Does it have to be all matchy matchy? Shabby is shabby right?

I need to holler at the girl I got the light on the left from, I would love to get another one...to match...ha!
