Merry Banner

I weighed myself today and I lost ten pounds in the 28 days of Fast Metabolism Diet. So I am happy.  I stuck with the diet all day and then for supper tonight I did have a small piece of meatloaf that had stuffing in it, which is not on the diet, so will be anxious to see if I gain in the morning, I sure hope not.

I needed to put a Christmas banner up on my mirror, it wasn't Halloween anymore...ha!  I love the new Festive Flurry Ornament Kit (available while supplies last) and wanted to use them with the banner.

Merry Banner Full

I used the Perfect Pennant Big Die and the Adorning Accents Edgelits for the banner.

Merry Banner Close snow

I used the white gel pen to add a bit of "snow" to the letters.

Well we moved the babies today.

Here they are before we moved them. Poor Jeff practically climbed half way in to be able to get them. We put them in Sammi's old dog pen while we moved their little pen to the big run.

Here the big girls are checking out their little sisters...well Fiji is looking for food. Speaking of Fiji, she has feathery feet, and yesterday was so miserable and wet the girls spent most of the time in their hen house and they must have been bored cause they have been messing with her feet. I think they are like "why does she get warm boots and we don't?" so her one foot is bleeding and it looks like they may have pulled out a feather, so after class/stamp club I put some medicine on it and corn starch which should stop the bleeding. I tried to bandage it but she picked it off. Was going to try again but it got too late and they had gone to bed so hopefully will be better in the morning.

I got this card from my sweet downline Donna Pratt at convention (Thanks Donna!) and I have wanted to case it forever, I mean it has sat on my desk waiting, and I was like eek, I better do it now since Thanksgiving is right around the corner.

Mini Masterpiece November 2013 002 copy

Well we had to postpone moving the babies until tomorrow (fingers crossed) cause of all the rain. It rained all last night and off and on all day, I even had to move my Sat classes till Sunday.  Gotta love the rain in AZ...we don't get it forever and then it floods the road...nuts.

I wanted to show the cute little Mini Masterpiece I am doing for online orders for the month of November...The month of November? Yep, I  have never shown one ahead of time...how fun is that? This fun little bucket of apples is from the Best of Autumn stamp set.

I do a different Mini Masterpiece each month. By placing a single $50.00 or more (before tax and shipping) order in my online store,  you will get a mini masterpiece of your own - so yes if you have participated in my monthly Online Mystery Hostess Workshop you have earned one because the minimum order for that is $50.00.

Please note: workshop & club orders do not count for the Mini Masterpiece.

Mini Masterpiece November 2013 001 copy

The Mini Masterpieces are adorable they are about 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" in size. You can frame them all together, make a cute tag or you can put them on a card, it is up to you.

Today is the last day of the Fast Metabolism Diet, I have done the full 28 days. When I weighed the other day, I lost 8 pounds and I was bad and didn't measure before I started but I can totally tell I lost inches, my butt and gut are smaller, and even my necklace hangs lower, I have been able to wear jeans I have not had on for years.  I originally wanted to be a certain weight which would mean losing 5 more pounds but now that I am here I think I really just need to tone up and if I lose more I do.  So next week I will eat similar to I have been, no sugar, eating 5 times a day and all that, but I am not going to worry if I eat an apple on a non apple day. I want to see how I do and if I did indeed repair my metabolism. I also will go back to pilates every day cause I know that has always helped me...thanks for all the positive emails and comments as I have talked about it.  If you are trying to lose weight I totally suggest you do the Fast Metabolism Diet for the 28 days. I'll be here for you for support.

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.

Santa's List Mercedes Weber case close

So Melissa and I went to see Hunger Games - Catching Fire and it was so good, the time just flew. I grabbed our tickets and the closed captioning device while I waited for her to get there.  We gabbed and visited so much that I never noticed that the device never did say anything and usually it says Harkins something or other and starts working around the last preview, so of course it was not working and I didn't realize it till the movie started, luckily one of the movie people came into the theater and walked by us and I asked if she could get me a new one and she did. Yay!!! Guess they never turned it on...so now I will make sure it is on.

I have the Everyday Occasions Kit class tomorrow and also Stamp Club day (if you want to join my stamp club let me know, I have one starting up in December). I saw this adorable card by the uber talented and one of this year's Artisan Award winners Mercedes Weber and I had to do it. I simplified her card to make it go quicker for the Stamp Club girls. Thanks Mercedes for sharing your talent.

I just love this Santa set, he looks so old fashioned.

I can't believe this crazy rain. It rained most of the day, I know we need it but sure makes a mess when you live on a gravel road. Looks like the babies might not go in the big pen till next weekend....grrrr....

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

Mini masterpiece close october

Today when I was out feeding the babies I noticed that Maggie was favoring her left leg and limping a little, so I brought her in the house to watch her for a bit.

001

I gave her some oats and after three turds on the floor I put her in the big plastic tub she was in as a chick, and Toby just kept crying to see her as usual. Then she flew up and sat on the edge of the tub. So I figured if she could do that hopefully she just stubbed her toe or something. I looked at her feet and even rubbed around on her leg and I don't see anything. So I put her back with her sisters. I didn't want to keep her out too long cause the pecking order gets messed up. I will just keep an eye on her and hope she gets better. I was going to move them and their little pen into the big run this weekend and now we are getting rain. Really? Grrrr.....I was comparing her picture with Fiji when she was younger. It's like they are the opposites in color.

I wanted to show the cute little Mini Masterpiece I did for online orders for the month of October. I can't even remember what stamp set this is as it retired a long time ago, but I always loved these little sunflowers.

I do a different Mini Masterpiece each month, I started in April. By placing a single $50.00 or more (before tax and shipping) order in my online store,  you will get a mini masterpiece of your own - so yes if you have participated in my monthly Online Mystery Hostess Workshop you have earned one because the minimum order for that is $50.00.

I'm gonna go see Hunger Games with my sweet friend Mel tomorrow, I can hardly wait. I re-watched the first one so I remembered everything. I read the books but it was forever ago. I'm glad we are going on a Friday which is Phase 3, it's a lot easier to snack on nuts in the movie over a piece of meat...ha!

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
