I have been working on swaps lately. This is one for my Occasions swap with my downline, but I think I might do this one for Leadership too. Just do it in different colors...what do you think?

I love to paper piece so I stamped the bunny on the shimmery white piece and had his head go off the page. Then I stamped the bunny on Core'dinations cardstock as well as the DSP and then cut them out, the belly just screamed for some design. Doing it this way meant I did not have to cut out the whiskers cause they are already on the card itself. I don't mind fussy cutting, but I draw the line at whiskers. I used a Daffodil Delight marker and colored the bow. I used a Pink Pirouette maker on the bunny to add some subtle shading.

I love a little bit of Washi tape makes a card so cute and colorful, plus easy.  I saw this cute card by Amy O'Neill (thanks Amy!) and wanted to make it for my Stamp Club. I changed the colors and used some of the new Washi tape from the Occasions catalog, and I love the retro look. Doesn't it remind you of an old diner?

 I got the cutest card from Dena Rekow and I have had it sitting on my desk since Founder's Circle, cause I wanted to make it so bad, but I didn't have the Butterfly Collection wheel, well I got it now and made this card lickety split for my Stamp Club...thanks Dena!

So I have given up making rice pudding in my pressure cooker. I don't really need to eat that anyway, but both times I made it, I was not too happy.  I think the first time I made it if I had left the coconut out it would have been better, the second recipe I tried it actually made a big mess and it was thick and not creamy looking like the picture.

Don't forget the clearance rack has been updated. Remember these cute totes I had made for the girls going to Convention? You can get the fabric on sale, but remember supplies are limited on everything.

...was I under? That I missed the first time the Garth Brooks' special was on (a month ago) and I missed the first half hour tonight when it was on again? Grrr....didn't realize how much I missed him.  It was a great show, would have loved to have been there in the audience and caught all the stuff that the commercials cut out, like when he sang "American Pie", I laughed and I even cried...Bravo Garth, Bravo!

This is one of the new sets from the Occasions catalog and you know me, give me a set I can color and I am in my element.  I saw a card by Debby Hughes that was non SU! everything but I loved the layout so I just improvised with my new stuff...eek! Thanks Debby for the inspiration.

Wow, the last weekend of 2013, this year surely did zip on by didn't it?  What did you say you wanted to do in 2013 and you didn't get it done so now you are going to hurry and get it done in the next few days? I'm going to be more organized and try to keep my studio tidier...but that starts Jan 1 right? I said I would lose weight and I did, but I put on a pound over Christmas so I need to be smart in my choices.
