Today's Open House was so much fun! I love talking about and showing new stuff, and I think everyone loved the make n takes and how cute and quick they were. Here is another one from the Happenings Kit #133329. It comes with everything shown here, except the adhesive and stamp set and it makes 15 cards with envelopes for only $14.95 - what a deal!!!

So about a week ago I think it was, I looked in the potato bucket and saw this.

Since I started my diet I just eat sweet potatoes, and I thought wow look how pretty the leaves are, so I posted it on FaceBook (what did we do before FaceBook right?) and I asked do I plant it? I knew I didn't think you should eat it once it starts to grow limbs. Mostly everyone said to plant it and I didn't even need to use dirt, but just put it in water. So I did and look at it today.

I just have it in a little dish inside my old sifter, I need to find a bigger dish to put it in but I kinda like the sifter look and it sits on my kitchen window sill. The roots are winding around inside the little dish...do you think if they get too many I can just trim them? My sister said I had a green thumb, I chuckled a little bit...yah I can grow a potato...ha! You should see the stuff she grows...much more fancier and prettier than a potato.

I have an Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Open House tomorrow and I wanted to show one of the cute make n takes everyone can do. This uses the fun Happenings Simply Created Card Kit #133329, and it is only $14.95 and makes 15 cards. I used the Peachy Keen stamp set for my greeting.

I'll show you the other two cards in the next couple days.

Ugh my new glasses are killing my head, they are too tight around my ears, I have tried sticking the temples or lugs whatever they are called in hot water and try to bend them but must not be working. I will have to go back to the Doc and have him adjust them.

I gotta go finish setting up my studio, so I better git!

The Mini Masterpieces are adorable they are about 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" in size. You can frame them all together in a collage, make a cute tag or you can put them on a card, it is up to you.

*Workshop & club orders do not count for the Mini Masterpiece.

I picked up my new glasses tonight, now I have to get used to reading my monitor again, how I have to tilt my head and all that...I wear trifocals (egads right?) and they are progressive so it can be a little getting used to at first. These ones get dark in the sun like my old ones, but they didn't have the cute sunglass magnetic clip dealie, and in the car they don't turn. So a few years ago on one of our SU! cruises we were able to pick a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses for free, so I am having them put in prescription lenses so I have them for driving. I figure when we go on the Caribbean cruise and if I need to use contacts to swim or whatever I'll just pick up a pair of cute sunglasses for that purpose...it sucks to be blind...and deaf, I swear I told Jeff if I was a horse I would have been made into glue long ago...just think I might have been the SNAIL adhesive, so I still would have been part of Stampin' Up! but not in the fun way...ha!
