You & Me close

Can you believe that today is the last day of the month, which is also the last day of Sale-A-Bration.  If you have been waiting to place your order for SAB freebies, please get it ordered today. Don't forget that today is also the last day to earn your March Mini Masterpiece. I showed you an idea of what you can do with it, as well as a sneak peek of April and May.

Today I went to lunch with Rhonda, Marlene, and we met our sweet friend Sylvia who was visiting from CO. She is a fellow Demonstrator and Jeff and I met her cutie patootie hubby Ralph on our first Stampin' Up! incentive trip to Alaska and we have been great friends ever since.  It was fate when Stampin' Up! set us together for dinner, fate I tell ya!

Lunch with Sylvia 001

Lunch zipped by as we ate, laughed and caught up with each other.  Can't wait till Convention Sylvia! Love ya!

So I thought this was the perfect card to show you today. Another Spring Fling make n take using the Watercolor Notecards. I saw a cute card by Jenny Peterson and tweaked this one for our purpose, thanks Jenny!

Ok I really don't, I did used to play the fiddle though.

We went to the Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand concert tonight and they were amazing as usual, they played old songs and new songs and I can't wait for their new CD to come out, soon they said.

Here's a few pictures.

Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand 010

We had excellent seats and I was a dork and didn't take my good camera (smacks head), so my stage pictures are not super good.

Roger Archibald on guitar and Ryan Shupe on the fiddle.

Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand 012

Bart Olson on the drums and Ryan Tilby on the bass.

And this cutie patootie, well this is Craig Miner, he's the banjo boy. My hubby knows I have a crush so it is ok. It is not that good of a picture, don't worry I have another one.

This is always my favorite part of the show (except it means it is over) when they play everyone's instruments...

Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand 048

...love these guys! I had them sign the back of my t-shirt so I can retire it and wear my new one!

Oh and that better picture? Here ya go...

Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand 051

...hubba! hubba!

I am going to head to bed with the sounds of fiddles, mandolins and banjos in my ears, and a smile on my face.

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.

I am so excited tomorrow I am going to the Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand concert, it has been a few years since I have seen them. They are my favorite band.

I want to show you another card from the Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards ensemble we did at Spring Fling. This card was cased and tweaked from a card I got from Cindy Westerink at Leadership. Thanks Cindy!

The other day after I dropped our taxes off I stopped at TJ Maxx and picked up some new clothes and some books for Daphne and I also got this very pretty bowl to sit on the counter with my colorful eggs in it.

Isn't it pretty? They had three of them and I was tempted to get them all, but I resisted. Look at what a couple days does.

There's a few more eh? I love looking at them. In fact yesterday we got 7 eggs!!! Mindy now seems to be broody, but not being mean like Mork, just more babysitter-ish. "Are you done laying those eggs, well I'll sit on them for you, run along and scratch the dirt outside, I got ya covered." She lets me lift her up to get the eggs at least.

Yesterday I also made pickled beets, we have a local farmer that you can order stuff from and they deliver it, and I snagged some huge beets. It has been years since I have made them and had to ask my sister Jacqui for Granny's recipe.

Look how big they were. Jeff said they were too big, but my sister said no that this way you cut them up instead of getting the beets when they are little tiny, so after hours (it took forever it seemed for them to cook), I did the pickle juice and got them in the sealer jars.

It made 5 jars and tonight we actually opened one up and had some at supper, and they were delicious, (I love making something that tastes good for Jeff, makes me feel like a great wife) Jacqui said to wait a few weeks to open them, but we couldn't. A few people said to hard bowl some eggs and then peel them and put them in the left over juice. I think I will try it...hmmm....where will I get the eggs? I feel so Julia Childs...ha!

I'm gonna say night and head to bed.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

Sale-A-Bration is over in 5 days, boy that zipped by didn't it?  It is also your last chance to earn the March Mini Masterpiece.  He won't be available after March. So I thought I would give you a sneak peek into April and May so you can get an idea what you can do with all your Mini Masterpieces. Just to be clear, you only get the Mini Masterpiece each month with a qualifying order, not the frame or DSP (this is just me giving you an idea what you can do with them)

Mini Masterpiece Seasonal Birdhouses Frame - Diana Gibbs

I love this oldie but a goodie set and wanted to make a trio of them, so I bought a 4 x 6 frame at a discount store, and put a piece of DSP behind the glass, then I used dimensionals to stick the Mini Masterpieces on the top of the glass. They looked too plain without a saying and "Home Tweet Home" seemed perfect. April's Mini Masterpiece will be the Snowman and then May's will be the Girl. If you earn all three of them I will send you the "Home Tweet Home" saying when I send you the last one.

Mini Masterpiece Seasonal Birdhouses Frame close - Diana Gibbs

I do a different Mini Masterpiece each month. By placing a single $50.00 or more (before tax and shipping) order in my online store,  you will get a Mini Masterpiece of your own in your mail box the following month. (I make them at the end of the month so I can make them all at once).

Please note: workshop & club orders do not count for the Mini Masterpiece.

The Mini Masterpieces are adorable they are about 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" in size. You can frame them all together, like I did here, make a cute tag or you can put them on a card, it is totally up to you.

I love hearing what you are doing with yours. Thanks for loving them as much as I do.

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.
