Just Because flower

Well I hope we won't be blooming with chicks that is for sure. The other day I didn't latch the run all the way and I guess the wind blew the door open. So I looked out and all the girls were running around with Cogburn. The ducks may or may not have been supervising. I don't know if "anything" happened or not. No one looked frazzled or ruffled, and Cogburn wasn't strutting any more than normal. Jeff says maybe he is too young.

I quickly got them back in the run and Cogburn did not get mad at me, I was afraid of that after having our roosters before attacking me, he did want to go with them and I said no.  Will watch the next couple days of eggs to see if anything is odd or not. They are going directly to the fridge when I collect them.

Today's card uses the new Hostess set Bloom with Hope. I got a really nice card from Jenn Tinline on the cruise and had to case the layout.  Thanks Jenn. This was my swap card I did with my downline recently.

Just Because

It uses new ribbon (gotta get it), new In Color cardstock (gotta get it), and of course the new Hostess set (gotta earn it) and uses the new Blendabilities (gotta sign up if you want them now). Sorry for teasing you, but just a few more days and you can order too...well not the Blendabilities, but the rest yes.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

This might be the fastest post in history. I have been pulling out retired stuff and my back is screaming, (I must admit after my kidney stone attack at convention last year every time I get a back twinge I say please God not a kidney stone) I am sure hauling stuff around last night for the event...plus the extra 5 pounds I have on my waistline is not helping, I even put on tennis shoes with my little lift thing in one of them (my spine has a curve thing and this helps) so I am going to take some Motrin and go to bed so I can get up early and keep going in the morning.

Enjoy this cute card using the Work of Art set, Gorgeous Grunge and Just Sayin'. I think this is one I did for my stamp club girls.

Have an amazing Friday and thanks for stopping in.

What another fun night tonight at the Quarters for a Cause. Tonight's event was to raise money for Andrew, the cutest little boy and he has cerebral palsy. He was there and told a knock knock joke and then off to speech therapy he went.

I showed you the table goodies yesterday, so today I will show you the table decor and my vendor table.

Quarters for a cause table decor

I did the table very similar to my DiVa Day.

The guests (I can't say girls, cause Daniel came so we had a young man at our table) received a pack of Halloween DSP, and inside their little chevron bag was googlie eyes and ribbon.

Chick-fil-A catered so that made it easier for me. I didn't have to run around and get food ahead of time.

Quarters for a cause display table

It was hard to do the display table this time with the change of the catalogs and all, so I had cards for sale, and paper pumpkin kits and upcoming classes. Of course I had the new catalogs for people to get as well. I didn't realize how wrinkley my banner is...I need to iron it...then fold it till next time...ha!

Well this ol' gal is headed to bed, it's late and I am whooped.

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.

Who doesn't like to get together with friends and stamp? Or even just sitting alone and working quietly on your Birthday cards, writing little notes and wishing you could see everyone open the special card you made? How would you like to actually earn money at the same time?

When I first became a Demonstrator 15 years ago that was me.  Stamping alone or with friends I was in my glory. I couldn't get over what I was making with my own hands and how easy and fun it was. I had a huge wish list and it was cheaper to just sign up and get my discount.  Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine actually being a "real Demonstrator", you know the kind that talks to people and sells stuff.  But it happened and I have never looked back.

For the next month, new recruits that join Stampin' Up! can do so at the traditional Starter Kit priced at $99 ($125 product value), or for a limited time, a reduced priced Starter Kit at the low price of $50 ($55 product value.)

Dates: May 28 - June 30, 2014

  • As a demonstrator, you can get a discount on new products like Blendabilities and Project Life, and you'll be able to get in on the preorder for the brand new holiday catalog (starts August 1st)!
  • Because you're a new demonstrator you will receive free convention registration!
  • A Free paper-pumpkin kit will also be included in the starter kit.
  • But wait, there's more--you will also get two FREE months of Demonstrator Business Web Services (DBWS) if you sign up for the DBWS within your first 21 days.
  • All starter kit orders must be finalized by June 30, 2014:
    • Online IDA: 11:50 pm  (MT)
    • Mail Order: June 30, 2014

You will be part of my Di's Country INKers team and I am a little biased when I say we have the best team of Demonstrators!

You can read more about the Demonstrator Benefits here.

I was a Hobby Demonstrator for quite a few years, while I had a second job. When Eric had issues coming home from school and getting picked on it was time for a change so I decided to do my Stampin' Up! business full time and be a stay at home Mum at the same time, and wow what a difference it has brought to our lives.  To be able to be home when Eric was younger was so nice and he liked it too. The places we have been, Alaska, Bermuda, Hawaii, Panama Canal, Fiji, the Caribbean just to name a few. Just from selling these little rubber stamps.  Not to mention the friends I have met a long the way.  I am so very blessed!

Whether you want to be a Hobby Demonstrator and save on your purchases, or you want to be a Seasonal Demonstrator, selling to friends and family certain times of year, or you want to be a Career Demonstrator, like me...it is totally up to you.

You can read more about the Career Plan here.

The Stampin' Up!'s Statement of the Heart is: To love what we do, and share what we love, as we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments...in this we make a difference!

I would love to have you join my family, I have Demonstrators all over the US and I would love to answer any questions you may have.

Have an awesome day and thanks for stopping in.

I have a Quarters for a Cause event tomorrow night and finished up my table gifts. I love these chevron bags, they make gift giving easy and cute!

Chalk Talk & Chevrons

I got a cute little present from Sherri Peters on the cruise and it had a cute tag, so I cased the tag and tweaked it a bit for my bags. Thanks for the inspiration Sherri. Mwah!

The paper the tags are made out of came from the Thankful Tablescape Kit that was in a mini catalog a while ago, they were to be used for a little pouch.  Waste not, want not, right? Plus I love the pattern and the feel of it...psst...check out those cute clothespins!!! Those are coming soon!

Supplies Used: For your convenience, just click on any of the pictures below and you can shop online (not everything is listed cause not everything is available yet):

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.
