Sheltering Tree Diana Gibbs Stampin' Up!

Today we went to a funeral of a sweet young woman who passed away suddenly and way too soon, she was the daughter of a dear friend. It was nice to hear people talk about how much she loved her sons, her parents and family, but those words are always the hardest to hear. I know when my Poppa died, when people would say "he loved you so much" that broke my heart a bit more each time I heard it, and really it was nice of them to say it, but it made me hope that he also knew I had loved him so much too, and had I told him enough? So maybe that is why when I hear these words it makes me do the silent cry that makes your throat hurt so bad, you want to sob out loud but you hold it back. So please make sure you tell your loved ones how much you love them every day because we just never know what God has planned for us and today's funeral proved it.

A quick card from my Class in the Mail ~ Sheltering Tree, and the class I have tomorrow. I was inspired by Robin Feicht, I tweaked her card a bit. Thanks Robin.  I love this Stacked with Love DSP stack, it is not just for Valentines.

Amazing Birthday Diana Gibbs

Gosh I hope I didn't show this card already. This is one from my Class in the Mail ~ Amazing Birthday that I did a while ago. I have a box of cards that I pull from for my posts and it was still in that box so me thinks I did not. If I did I apologize but it is super cute and maybe you are a new blog reader so it will be new for you. If you are a new blog reader, welcome I am glad you are here. If you have been reading my blog for a while, I am super glad you are still here, I appreciate it so much.

This was cased from Nance Leedy. Thanks Nance!

So the other day I took our taxes in to get done...ugh, I take them to my old boss who I used to work for before I became a full time Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. My friend Teri took over my job and it was fun seeing her and we had a great lunch after my appointment which was so nice to catch up with each other.  After lunch I headed to a couple antique places, I am on the hunt for some old suitcases to store stuff as well as put my kits and cards for sale in and when I did my class at Suzi's she had this old wire milk crate on the wall above her loo holding toilet paper and I thought what a grand idea. So lookee what I found (didn't find any suitcases)...

Milk crate loo decor

...Jeff thought I was nuts but he hung it up anyway. I said wait till I decorate it.  The old cigar box holds woman things that I can not wait to not need anymore...nuff said. He said it looks good now. What do you think? Should I make a banner? What would it say? Please put the seat down!!

Not these kind...

Duck Tales

...these kind. Check out the ducks wagging their tails.

I can hardly wait till they are big enough to be in the run so I can actually play with them and walk around with them.  Probably in a few weeks or so we will move them into the run inside this brooder so they all get used to each other through the wire.  Oh and Georgette almost quacked today. They make lots of noises when they are in the water and after.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
