OMG! Did you watch Grey's Anatomy last night?  I had a bad feeling about it from the beginning, in fact I thought Derek was going to be dead and somehow helping people from the wreck but I was wrong about that part...that is all I will say in case you have not seen it but feel free to comment or email me, and let's discuss.

Oh and it has been forever since I talked about Survivor, my friend Trish, her nephew/Godson is Joe and I was so bummed I cried when he got kicked off, but it will be nice to see him each week on the jury. Who are you rooting for? Since my guy is gone I don't have a favorite per se, but I do know who I don't like. I know Rodney can go anytime, and I did not like the whole Will/Shirin throwdown this week.  I also don't understand why Mike & Shirin voted the way they did?

Here is a cute card from my Class in the Mail ~ Sheltering Tree.  I saw a card similar by Silke Ledlow on Pinterest and had to do one like it using this set. Thanks Silke.

In the Mail Class fee due no later than May 8 (or while supplies last). If you are interested please let me know and I will send you a PayPal link. Thanks!

I will mail class packets the week of May 25.  After I send out the class in the mail kits I will email you a PDF with close up pictures as well as a link to a private video so you can see how to make the projects.  It's like having me in your home.

You will need to email me at [email protected] or [email protected] if the link does not work, to get the paypal link for the class fee. I am doing this so that I can keep track of how many class in the mail kits are ordered.  I can only do so many. If you don't hear back from me, email me again sometimes there have been email glitches from emailing from my blog.

Please note that my Class in the Mail kits are only available to be shipped within the US. Thanks for understanding.

What if you already have the "Guy Greetings" stamp set but you still want the class in the mail? Just let me know what other item at the same price you would like (it must fit in a priority envelope) and you will get that with your class supplies instead.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Have a great Thursday and thanks for stopping in.

I'll share this cute card tomorrow, but I had to share this first since a few of you guessed right on the silver sculpture.

Please excuse the butt crack.

Digging out the ant colony

This might explain better what that metal sculpture was that I showed the other day. Jeff and our neighbor Jim (I swear these two are the greatest friends) melted down aluminum and it was red hot, they did it at night so they could see the flame, I stood way back but it was fun to watch them like a couple highschool kids.

They poured it into this huge ant hill that we had in the circle drive, I mean there were thousands of big ants. I was going to put poison on the hill the day before and Jeff said no cause they were going to do this.  Now I love animals, but ants, spiders and flies I can do without. So after they poured it in then they allowed it to cool over night and then Jeff dug it out (3 hours later, and why his back was killing him). Ants were still crawling all over the place and on Jeff, this gave me the heebie jeebies.

Aluminum ant colony

It kept going and going.  Jeff was hoping it would be more tree like as that as what they had seen on YouTube, but this one was wide.

He then cleaned it all up and made the beautiful base to mount it on.  The pest control guy was out here the other day (termites are in Jeff's work shop) Did you hear me scream "Can we not have anything nice?" I showed him the ant thing and he took a picture of it he was pretty impressed, he said that they were wanting to do one to educate kids.

Look at a few of Jeff's roses I love this time of year.

Jeff's roses

The roses around the coop are getting nice too, they love the duck poop water.

Well I gotta get back to cutting paper.

Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.
