I'll share this cute card tomorrow, but I had to share this first since a few of you guessed right on the silver sculpture.
Please excuse the butt crack.
This might explain better what that metal sculpture was that I showed the other day. Jeff and our neighbor Jim (I swear these two are the greatest friends) melted down aluminum and it was red hot, they did it at night so they could see the flame, I stood way back but it was fun to watch them like a couple highschool kids.
They poured it into this huge ant hill that we had in the circle drive, I mean there were thousands of big ants. I was going to put poison on the hill the day before and Jeff said no cause they were going to do this. Now I love animals, but ants, spiders and flies I can do without. So after they poured it in then they allowed it to cool over night and then Jeff dug it out (3 hours later, and why his back was killing him). Ants were still crawling all over the place and on Jeff, this gave me the heebie jeebies.
It kept going and going. Jeff was hoping it would be more tree like as that as what they had seen on YouTube, but this one was wide.
He then cleaned it all up and made the beautiful base to mount it on. The pest control guy was out here the other day (termites are in Jeff's work shop) Did you hear me scream "Can we not have anything nice?" I showed him the ant thing and he took a picture of it he was pretty impressed, he said that they were wanting to do one to educate kids.
Look at a few of Jeff's roses I love this time of year.
The roses around the coop are getting nice too, they love the duck poop water.
Well I gotta get back to cutting paper.
Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.
