Best Thoughts Diana Gibbs Hostess Stampin' Up!

Before I went to Founder's Circle I went to a class at MAMMa's (My Arizona Mum Marlene) and here is one of the cards we did. It is nice going to a class for a change instead of me having to cut all the paper and stuff envelopes. Ha!

My very first Convention 16 years ago I got my Convention back pack handed to me by the sweetest man, Cherokee. Over the years at events I would look forward to seeing him to get a hug.  After a few years he did not work the events anymore so I didn't get to see him.

When I earned my first Founder's Circle 6 years ago I was so excited to see Cherokee at Kanab when we toured the manufacturing plant, he remembered me and I got that hug once again. I have been getting one every year since.

So this was the last Founder's Circle because Stampin' Up! is going global. It sure was bitter sweet.

As we walked out to the rock to get our pictures taken I told the girls that Cherokee is usually out there to take pics. But I didn't see him so I figured he was working inside.

I stood by the rock to get my picture taken, we were sqwishing each other...will show those another day, I still need to upload all my pictures.

As I stood there the girls looked off to the side kinda scared like and I was like OMG! was it a bug or something on the rock.

Winona sent me these pics. Too funny.

I turned to see what was on the rock and Boo! Cherokee was photobombing me and scared the poop out of me!!! He said he seen me coming and hid behind the rock...too funny you can see Winona (I think) sqwishing me in her picture.

Realizing it is not a big bug going to eat me, but a Cherokee!!

I told him to get his self around the rock so I could get my hug!

Sure will miss seeing him each year.

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.

While I have been at Founder's Circle I have been having the floor of my studio refinished. When we converted the garage I can't even remember how long ago...over 10 years I know that much.  We had to raise the floor to make it level, we used color concrete so it looked a bit better, we could not afford to do anything fancy plus didn't want to have to wory about ink pads falling on the floor and staining whatever we did put down.

A month ago the Pork Shop by my house (the best fresh pork ever..say hi to Jason when you go in) recently added on to their shop and when we went in to check it out I loved the floor, so we contacted the guy and voila' me being at Founder's Circle was perfect timing as everything that was not attached to the walls had to be removed while it was being done.

Before Epoxy

This is the floor before.

Taped up cause of dust

Everything is covered in plastic cause of the dust, they have to sand the floor to remove the seal and expose the concrete or something.

Sanding the floor before epoxy

You can see the difference between the non sanded and sanded...almost done.

Cleaning up ducst

Sucking up the dust and blowing it out the door.

Crack fillage

Filling up the cracks, looks like there was a lot eh?

After epoxy

All done.  Now to wait for it to set/cure/whatever it has to do and then we can move...ok Jeff and Eric will move the furniture back in.  I can't wait to see it.

Just waiting for my shuttle and then I am on my way home today.

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.
